I consider Cunnigham one of the best Admirals of WWII in the Royal Navy. However, I don't know a lot about him. Anyone?

What a great statement, Mr X is the best, but I never knew what he did

But I agree that he had a good reputation and did very well in the Med against the Italian fleet and German airforce whilst being given some difficult and thankless tasks like supplying/supporting crete, malta, greece etc.

LOL, I knew what he did, as in that he was CinC Naval Forces in the Mediterainian, and he did a lot against Italian Fleets, but was wondering whether anyone had some more info on him.
