Dad's birthday

    My father would be 100 today. Although he died in 1990, my interest in WW2 was because of him. I wish I could question him with my current knowledge.

    Yeah I'm sure a lot of us would love to have that same opportunity in our own way Lou. I've read that it when an old person dies, it's comparable to a library burning down. I'm sure your ole man had a lot of interesting stories that could have been shared and posted here for posterity. It would have been nice to learn about him, and his stories. Live and learn I guess.
