It's by an artist called Maurice Gardner and is long out-of-print.

It depicts Lancaster 'O-Orange' ( ED886 ) of the Townsend crew and is indeed signed by Bill Townsend, George Chalmers and Doug Webb. Townsend is a hero of the Raid - his aircraft flew back in daylight (!) and was the last to land. Townsend was awarded the CGM for his feat, Webb and Chalmers both got the DFM ( all three were Sergeants ). Townsend's autograph isn't easy to find and this print is a great piece of 'Dambuster' memorabilia.

( thanx for these comments Martin! )

The Typhoon print is 'Double Trouble' by Geoff Nutkins and is signed by eight 609 Squadron pilots.

( Thanx for the comments above Martin! Now I´m the happy owner of these prints and signatures! )
