I am trying to get some drawings done for a house but the Tour De France comes on every morning and I am transfixed. I love watch the Tour, not only the race but the lovely French countryside. Hard to believe it ends Sunday. It appears Francesco Napoli will win the Mailot Jaune but other categories still undecided.

Now as to why I have a TV in front of my drawing board I know not.

It's better to be addicted to the Tour than booze. I don't really watch it and as to the countryside I taste it live (I love it and still discover little nooks after all those years) . the Tour is a good hobby I must admit.

nope, in fact a Frenchman hasn't won the Tour since 1987 (IIRC), perhaps we can blame Armstrong for that.

TBH Nibali only won because all the leading Brit riders were hors de combat...and some of that lovely French countryside was British too BTW - with the first three stages this year taking place in a rather sunny England. Some of the French stages took place in torrential downpours...

Number two and three were French. As to Armstrong, I like to remember the trompetist or the astronaut, not the cheat.... Nibali is Italian btw.

I couldn't hold myself. When I saw Tour de France I immediately thought of this.
