I have it and it is a very good book but it all depends on what you are looking for. It isn't about German formations, battle histories etc. Basically it shows all the different pieces of equipment that a German soldier carried from his helmet and rifle down to his shaving brush and comb.
My main collecting interest is paperwork but I still bought this book (it briefly touches on the soldbuch etc) as it is interesting. In fact the photo on the right in your post is a better indicator of what the book is about then the one on the left.

It's great if you are a militaria collector, less interesting if you are an historian. It shows great pictures with uniforms , accessoiries, gear and much more more.

We've mentioned this book before, but I'd recommend it to anyone who collects or tries to identify German WWII militaria and personal items. It's a very well-produced book and I believe may be going out-of-print.
