    Rear Admiral Jeremiah Andrew Denton , Jr. (NSN: 0-485087) - U.S. Navy - July 15, 1924 - March 28, 2014.
    Place of Birth: Mobile Alabama
    Home of record: Mobile Alabama
    Status: Former POW, Deceased.

    Jeremiah Denton graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Class of 1947. He was interned as a Prisoner of War in North Vietnam after he was shot down on July 18, 1965, and was held until his release on February 12, 1973. He retired as a U.S. Navy Rear Admiral.
