Dortmund Pow artwork

    I'd like to share this artwork with you. It was made by an French pow artist called Jean in 1943 in Dortmund, Germany for another French pow with the intials M.S.

    it is carved in a pice of wallnut wood.

    It says captivity souvenir Dortmund
    and the back is dated January 4 1943.

    Nice artwork. It's amazing the things the POW's could do, with little to nothing to do it with.
