Dunkirk novels?

    Can anyone suggest a novel about the Dunkirk Evacuation? I read 'The Snow Goose' years ago and that was really excellent, although light on Dunkirk itself. The film 'Dunkirk' was based loosely on the novel 'The Big Pick Up' but it's hard to find a copy. Also, I would like something I can read on my new Kindle. Any suggestions?

    I recommend weekend at Dunkirk by Robert Merle .I think it was translated into English in 1965.
