Three expeditions, five countries and about 12 000 kilometers on the road. Tiger in Munster - where all began, Omaha Beach, Band of Brothers Bois Jacques foxholes, the zone of the 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade from the Market Garden operation or the route of Kampfgruppe Peiper in Ardennes are just some stages of the journey tracing WW II battles which gave me a completely different view on well known historic events, showed new intriguing episodes and delivered new memories.
The website "Expeditions in the footsteps of WW II" presents the outcome of the adventures as well as fascinating history. You will find here unique photos and information from battlefields, museums and memorials. Then and now photos - historic pictures compilation showing the difference between past and present. The keynote of the page is the armor. Feel free to comment and recommend.
