F-W Ta 152

    I realize they might have been mistaken for a F-W 190, but.....Were there any detailed accounts of these flying against a P-47 or P-51.?

    Was there much review given them after the war, as far as how they (Did or Could Have) stacked up against enemy fighters of he day.?

    I remember accounts with them and bomber formations...I think the Dora was the one to take on the fighters (as you know the 152 was best at altitude...)

    Not sue what i know. :)
    I guess He/They designed 3-4 models...not sure if they were all pressurized, or just The Interceptor. I Think Wiki rated it at close to 50,000 feet.
    470 MPH i believe.
    I suppose it was The Mustang that most all fighters were eventually compared to. Was kind of wondering if The Allies ever did any sort of "Fly-Off".....pitting the 152 against other fighters.

    They certainly did...and the 190D...others could tell you the results.
