I've had pneumonia 4 times, and it's definitely no picnic. Never had double, but did have pneumonia and bronchitis at the same time. Nearly put me in the hospital. Last year I had run of the mill influenza that had me hacking my lungs up for 2 months. Got it again this year. Been hacking for about 2 weeks, but not quite as bad as last year. So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Wow! I'm glad nothing gets transmitted by computer. Haven't been sick since my stroke six and a half years ago. Fingers crossed.

Well, I officially no longer have the flu. I've got to figure out how to give them back those liters of IV antibiotics. The doctors say I don't have pneumonia either. Instead I have interstitial lung disease and Parkinson's.

Stay tuned for the next rounds of medical SWAGs.

Parkinson’s...is that where you can’t stop interviewing people?

Could be, but at least my Morse rate has soared. Error rate is over 100% as well.

Boss Lady says she's impressed. I haven't gone to an ER this entire year so far.

Take it one day at a time. Try to go all the way to Elvis's birthday w/o a visit to the ER. Then try for President's Day, then Mardi Gras and so on. Little steps.

On the 12th they stop the oxycontin. That's a step. Weird birthday present, however.

And if I live another year I'm coming back to this thread to see what I wrote.
