famous eisenhower photo controversey...

    Here is two men... William Boyle and Walter Neton... William Boyle has been listed as who they think is to the far right of the famous eisenhower photo... but whehn you look at his real photo theres no resemblence.. my grandpa who was always in that same area who i have said from day one looks just like him ... who do you think looks more like the man?

    Wasn't your grandfather a tall man? Ike was 5-10 and the man in question looks considerably shorter than him.

    I understand that this photo is fairly well documented. I posted an article sometime back concerning the man with the placard around his neck, where he was describing the gist of the conversation, which was fly-fishing in Michigan.

    The men shown appear to have hearts on their helmets, making them 502nd PIR. The "tic" appears to be at the top (covered up), which would make them B Co.

    my grandfather wa 5 foot 8 1/2 and 275 pounds. so he was smaller then dwight
