    as the title says, just posted some of the famous qoutes of World war two. who knows with what we will come up. here's mine

    "talihoooo, japs above clarck!!!"

    said when the japs started to bombard clark airfield on the fillepines at december 1941.

    OK, Simon is going to lynch me for this one but there is a lengthy topic on World War II quotes on the board, as well as a Non-World War II quotes thread split from it. It's a bit of a mess though, so feel free to add to it.

    Yeah, Churchill loved the Americans so much, he even said once:

    He was a very witty man. His mother was an American and he apparently had genuine feelings for America aside from his conviction that America would save Britain from defeat.
