as the title says, just posted some of the famous qoutes of World war two. who knows with what we will come up. here's mine

Yeah, Churchill loved the Americans so much, he even said once:

He was a very witty man. His mother was an American and he apparently had genuine feelings for America aside from his conviction that America would save Britain from defeat.

When it come to WW2 quotes my favorite is:

I thought it was something like this: "Look out, here come the last fifty Spitfires. Again."

 

Possibly it would certainly make it more ironic comment.
