Fernando Corrêa Rocha (1921 - 2008) a brazilian fighter pilot who flew 74 combat missions with 1st Brazilian Fighter Squadron "Senta a Pua" of 350th FG in Italy between November 44 - May 45, passed away last April 1st, at 86 years old.

Rocha was one of the first brazilian pilots to go to USA for military training after Brazil declared war on Germany in August 1942. He flew the P-47 Thunderbolt and received the DFC.

After the war he became a pilot for Panair.

I wrote a small biography of him:

Sala de Guerra: Fernando Corrêa Rocha

    RIP Commander!
