For the past few years we've had two Administrators (myself and Slipdigit), as a result of our expanding operations we've made the decision to add another officer to the ranks.

Some of you have undoubtedly heard the rumblings of the upcoming server migration, a software change, and the impending launch of a new encyclopedia of WWII called the WWII Open Research Group over at WW2.org. As you can imagine this is keeping us very busy, and the plans we have in the next few months will only require more time and resources. This does not even take into account a similar effort going on at our sister site WW2Talk.com.

The newest Administrator is storied WW2 Forums rogue Belasar. A stalwart member of the WW2 Forums for over 6 years, he quickly made himself helpful as a moderator and has proven to be a good balance of reliability and mediation. Belasar's work was critical during the WorldWar2Talk.com Forum Import, where he distributed thousands of posts to their proper locations, a very lengthy, dull task for which he was happy to volunteer and complained not a peep.

Please extend a salute to the newest member of the WW2F High Command: Belasar! We are all fortunate that he accepted.

Thanks Otto and thank you gentlemen. I promise this will be my last territorial demand :)

As for Urq, sadly he fell to the great scourge of us without a life, a woman!

Damn. Passed over for promotion again in favour of WW2F's resident clown.

Errr...I mean well done! This is a very well-deserved new posting, belasar! I'm looking forward to your new contribtions / abuses of power.

Ah, yes. I guess there is a subtle yet crucial difference between "jester" and "clown". I should have been more specific. It is clear that Poppy cannot possibly have any connections to a monarchy....

    I dunno...King + alcohol + scullery maid = Poppy.
    I could see that.

Still, Poppy is more anarchy than monarchy.

A better choice could not have been made. He's a hard working, hard charging kind of dude and takes the reins by the horns.
That's just his style not a typographical error.

    Congrat's Sir.

and I hope that's the last time I have to call him Sir.

Having read all of this something seems missing, especially with Belasar being a Texan. Administor Belasar just doesn't sound like a true field promotion. I think Generaloberst Belasar is more fitting . Being that Slipdigit received his promotion first perhaps we should have Generaloberst I Slipdigit and Generaloberst II Belasar but then that sounds like Belasar out ranks Jeff so that might cause confusion , even a mutiny . Shades of Zhukov and Konev. Ummmmm. I will stick to being a PFC assuming that I am one..

You know you have to buy a round for everyone, dontcha, D? It's traditional. Well actually, its two rounds, plus a bowl of crab claws. And a lobster tail...or two. And don't forget, uh, the cheese cake, with strawberries.
