I just started reading this book, which I got from Amazon. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that it was autographed by the author in 2002. There is a bookplate attesting to that, and it seems to be real. I can't imagin anyone willingly parting with it. My gain. By the way, though I've just begun, it is a fascinating book and complements Jeff's book on the 30th Recon.
I've said before that I think this book is the single best first person battle account to come out of WWII. I'm envious of your signed copy!
Apparently the Camp Blanding Museum Gift Shop http://www.30thinfantry.org/books.shtml#books has signed copies for $20. Considering your glowing review I'll have to look into it.
