Well, I am back from Twinwoods, a weekend of real rough tough living history. Great stuff!

Loads of groups there, I lived as a ruskie (a rather well fed Ruskie admittedly) in authentic dwellings (under a rain cape)with authentic communally cooked food and with appropriate weapons and frequent scraps with the hated fascists!

I will post some pics in the week when I have recovered and returned from Bovington (I am going to the RAC HQ there, not the museum sadly). More later gents including the story of the 'death cup'

Glad you had fun Martin, we did see a Dakota fly over possibly on the way from Cambridge to somewhere.

Don't worry Baron, you wouldn't have liked it honest! Crewing a Maxim or a DP for several hours, charging through woods after retreating Fascists and sitting around a fire drinking vodka, it was nothing to be jealous of...

Ahh what am I saying??? It was GREAT!!!! ;)

Nice pictures Stefan. Do you all do a Russian dance like they did in the movie Patton ? I don't know what that kind of dancing it is called but you would have to have strong legs to do it.
    (early break dancing ?? )

Not really, had a go at Kalinka (which is the steryotypical Ruskie dance) and it does get painful after a very short time. There was also a masterful demonstration of spoon fighting, a famous RKKA martial art.
