Jack Sherman was a replacement into the 327 2nd BN Co G. Jack's first glider ride was into combat. To clarify, he actually flew in on Sept 18 in the first glider lift, not Sept 17 (which he now knows). There are 2 videos totally something like 5 minutes. Jack was a major contributor to the book Glider Infantryman. At 92 now, he lives in NC and is doing pretty well. He was a runner for Captain Evans.
