    1. Your Name: My real name is Kevin. I think some of you can guess where I got Georgy. Been reading about his tactics so I am inspired to create this username. You can call me Georgy or Kevin.
    2. Age: I am 25. I was around eight years old when I first became interested in WWII. I had a friend who showed me all these books and I became fascinated. People thought I was weird. Still do:D
    3. Origins: Newtown, Connecticut
    4. Specifics: All of it really. I want to take advantage of this age of information and find as much credible information I can. Most of my old WWII books are outdated but very good, I mostly refer to John Keagan but I've been expanding to various authors, most notably Beevor.
    5. Hobbies: Huge history buff. Really into movies, only shows I watch now is Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones
    6. Other: Europe in the Middle Ages. Ancient Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome and all the different cultures of Europe and Eurasia because of that mystery surrounding them. I love all history but feel the information of modern history is a bit overwhelming, I feel the 20th Century is the last era where there's room to take in everything and make conclusions. Now whatever is printed is seen as fact even if confirmed otherwise.
    7. Miscellaneous: I spend time with my family. Have one daughter, maybe will have more kids but one is a handful enough already. Love this auto save feature.

I really hope I will explore some of the stuff not discussed in many WWII related topics and hoping for some more recommendations in books, film and documentaries.

Welcome to the Forum Kevin. If being interested in WWII makes one "weird", you are in good and familiar company.
Hope you enjoy your stay. Dave

Welcome, as far as book recommendations go you might want to check out the thread "What are you reading PtII" to see what folks around here are reading and the reviews they give about them. Enjoy your stay.
