Every now and then when I try to get to www.ww2f.com I get the page can not be found error.

    Anyone else?

    Anyone know why?

Yes. I can only guess parts of the internet get "bogged down" with heavy traffic.

Yup I g0t it as well. I tried again and no problem. I should note that it happened to other sites as well and since I removed IE8, I've had no issues.

Strange. Since the new server went on line, I've had no issues with getting on. Usually, my computer is one of the first to react badly, if given the chance. The only issue is occasional slow response time.

    Who knows?

It happens to me every time that I log on for the first time in a day. After that, it connects right off. I blame the internet, Internet Explorer, Bill Gates, and the guy who see's fit to steal some (not all!) of the pop bottles out of the back of my truck.

I sometimes encounter the problem. It takes me several attempts before I can enter the site. The most common problem I have is when I attempt to post. Sometimes I suddenly find myself disconnected when I try to send post. It's just an inconvenience. Anybody knows how to deal with this problem?

I have an occasional problem (less than once a week). The page will come up patially. I hit F5, it refreshes and comes up fully.

From the posts, there does seem to be a "problem." For me, however, I consider it as more of an inconvenience.
It's still a hassle, though, whatever one may describe it. Maybe it's just teething pains? Well, no system is perfect. And since many of us still continue logging on the forum despite this hassle, it just proves how great this forum really is.

I am having this problem now quite frequently, at all sorts of times of day/evening, with this and WW2Talk.

Then I try after a break and it's fine.

    Mike, Skipper,
If both sides of the Atlantic are asleep, then who else is left to blame? Us in the Far East? :)

Actually, I put the blame on N/Korean :panic: Dictator Kim Jung "Mentally Ill" Il (or howeveritspellsitsname?) on trying to block Ottos attempts at giving a buncha people a place to come visit.

But funnily enough, it happens to me too-errrrr :wolf:
