Hoping one of you can give me some information about this. My dad recently found it and was curious what it was used for, belonged to my great grandfather.

Just the cover? Durand is a town in Michigan. This may be a presentation cover for something related to the railroad during the war.

It's got Navy (blimp &. battleship), airplanes, armor, coastal artillery, Looks like a photo cover or presentation holder. Put your diploma in it and if you don't have one, Diploma.com has yours!
