    The speedometer goes to "100", which would be its terminal speed after being pushed out of a Gooney Bird at 20 angels.

    That or wishful thinking. Or someone messed up in the factory purchasing Department. There was a War on after all.

    "Off The Shelf" was a mantra. I can just picture some 18 yo farmboy who had never driven anything but a tractor looking at that "100mph" and getting an itch equal to the time Daisy Mae was bent over picking strawberries.

    Ayup, I cultivated a few fields on a John Deere 4010 and one day little Susie was a sunbathing naked on the opposite side of a nearby house roof! Didn't find out til the following Monday at school ! She made up for it though.

    There is another jeep. It is a Ford. Also engines and lots of parts.I am helping clear out the place so he can sell the stuff. Rich A. in Pa.
