This is a front seam swivel bale helmet. It is mostly original except the liner paint and a repro sweatband. The helmet liner is a Westinghouse Electic Company liner. It has an early green buckle on the leather chinstrap. The liner has "A" washers and khaki HBT webbing. The shell has khaki chinstraps and a steel "J" hook buckle. I had also noticed the heat stamp was 0998. Could someone confirm the date on the shell? Below are some photos, I hope you enjoy!
