    LOL well 2 out of 40 ain't bad ! :D

    'Not sure about number 4 either - the wings, the blade, the serpents and maybe a skull on top....hmmm not sure. Which symbols are military and which are dodgy national socialism anyway ?? I dunno !

    Overall though to me most of them look just plain old-fashioned German military. Great thread Jim can you tell us more ?

    All i can add Dave is that these straps meant a few things when worn, one was of course to show the rank, and his branch of service, also they were used to hold military equipment in place on the shoulders... ;) It is obvious they meant more than this but i cant help matey.. :blue:
