    Just wondering if the salutations apply equally to Axis veterans. Are we allowed to "acknowledge" the service of Axis vets in equality with their Allied opponents?

    Might not sound like much of a question.

    Worth an answer though, just to clarify how the site works in general....

    I think he can, as long as they are not neo nazi's. If they are simply soldiers doing there job what makes them different to any allied soldier? We see them as the bad guys, but the standard Wehrmacht soldier is no different from any other countries soldiers.

    Of course, Volga. Language is a bit of problem, but there have been a couple. There used to an officer that posted here quite a bit, can't remember his name right off, but I think Carl knew him.

    why not ? several of us here have German relatives deceased and alive that served for that fool. I remember both sides of my Family that served during that terrible conflict.
