German Eastern Front photos

very nice set

 

# 2 and 5 have been seen in several books covering W-SS Div Reich since the 1970's

the winter pics all look familiar nice though . . . .

I know #5 is from a set of Kharkov photos, not sure where #2 is from. I may delete them and add some rarer photos

 

# 2 is from the Kursk - Orel Salient and the slow retreat out into the fall/winter before the 2nd Das Reich vehicle marking was removed. as seen in other pics not all armor wore the marking. in this case : 6th Pz Kompanie

 

gotta a few hundred photos to go through, will post any rare ones i find

 

Im not trying to sound like a jerk but, these dont look like original prints unless they are absolutely mint. Otherwise-great shots. Many are of HH.PK quality shots. I collect PK pix too, just none in the past year.

 

Guess 'we" aint going to have this question answered?

Great photos from the eastern front, not easy to get and not cheap either. Thanx for sharing them!

 

Recognise the Sturmbannfuhrer RK photo thought it was Gerd Pleiss but he was he was an Obersturmfuhrer when awarded in 1941 so who is it ???

Plus don't recognise the Hauptsturmfuhrer RK anyone know who it is ?
