there may just be something hidden amongst the old postings in militaria from years ago. the Wehrmacht-awards.com may also be of benefit besides it's huge forum(s) we have posted different militaria dealers which included many close-in detailed photos.
Last year I attempted a sorts Dealers List and was going to do reviews on at least 50-posted maybe about 20 before life became an uproar and we moved. I have no clue where the list is with the dealers on it I never had a chance to post about? Anyway, that list is in this Militaria section-------somewhere? I just dont know where? Anyway, if you can find the thread? post your link in it and tell Jeff, Skipper or someone that you'll bake thema cake if they make it into a sticky? and perhaps someday, I can find the dealers list I copied down and can finish posting them. waf can fall off the face of the Earth. The site is great for things but the ownership ist VERI schlecht.
Yeah I was thinking if we could have a thread ("sticky") with just links and what they go to. I tried doing a search and although I found some useful links and info it was kind of a hit and miss thing. I'll keep digging around in the basement and who knows what I might find over time.
C look beyond the owner of waf, the site is incredible there is no doubt that there are many knowledgeable plus several of our members are members there as well. As with any site look into your specifics and forget the blah blah tatters would agree maybe a combination of dealerships recommended by all us militaria types will be useful for many.
Hi E, I have but, I still intensly dislike that little Napoleon. Another thing to ponder is, I wonder how many people he canned who contributed so much to making the site what it is? Im one, W.C. Stump is another and there are probably dozens if not hundreds more. Both of us were very early on. I remember when the site had only 1/2 page of postings. No photos nothing.
well the site has grown unbelieveably; really do not think SB even really has anything to do there anymore it has been taken over by some very competent personell, ah but we know as fact there are bad eggs at every forum on the net, just ignore them and their stink will soon fade away
I dont look there for anything and havent for several years so I dont know if Napoleon Mini Me is still there or not? As far as a trutworthy site goes on this stuff, ill stick with Paul and Wade etc at the W.R. site-those Guys I have respect for.
