I thought you'd like to see these WW2 German propaganda card that just came in the mail today . The first one is a sailor song the second one is a song dedicated to the war fiancées and the thrird one is an ode for work
My own German Propaganda leaflets (as opposed to cards) reside in my Army Album now sited at the Imperial War Museum in London. i wrote about them on the BBC People's War site: http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/ww2peopleswar/stories/33/a2297333.shtml Ron
Although I don't read German (I have enough trouble with English), the gist of these cards is obvious. Thanks for sharing, Kai.
Thanks, that´s even kind of funny. Value = zero. But I doubt this is an "orginal" or official stamp I have never seen it in any catalogue or website before... guess these cards were maybe printed by the Division itself, as it seems stamp is printed directly on card....(however I am not that stamp expert and certainly not at field postcards tbh.). I have many stamps I collected once, but not from this area of collections...
If anyone's interested, here is an Allied compilation book of German propaganda leaflets. https://archive.org/details/GermanPropagandaLeaflets
Yes , it's not a stamp it's a humoristic caricature . The value "zero" refers to Chamberlain who is worth "nothing" according to this propaganda postcard. On the Chruchill card , one can clearly see the firgure is printed I also found a Stalin version .
