    knackered

your old kriegspfarrer is the one in the center. and this site is up the side of a mountain so I am indeed knackered. the morning was hectic and i ran around doing lots of stuff and didnt know the photo-op was on the agenda. the lost batallions tunic being shorter than most repros emphaizes girth and I am short too. no excuses, get back on my bike and ride myself thin, but i will be 67 years old in a couple months so not sure i can recoup much of my youthful figure. thanks for pointing out that we are well fed.

Depending on the reenactment, do ya'll have different period uniforms to select from, or are you always members of the 21st Infantry?
'Reason I ask, I just love the 3-color "dapple" german camo-smocks used in late-war. Were these only issued to elite-troops?
