    Hate to say this, but growing up in post Vietnam, American toy isles were filled with war toys, especially guns. i had plastic M1 Garand I was deeply fond of as I recall.

    I would have dearly loved to have one of those when the sprogs were small.

    On Toy guns. Three friends in total were denied them as kids by right-on parents.
    All went on to join different branches of the military.
    Oh, how we laughed...
