The trade stands at Beltring 2008 provided a splendid selection of 'rust', mainly from the Eastern Front and featuring quite a lot of Nebelwerfer projectiles ( or bits of... ) which I hadn't seen before....

    Oooh, can I play!
I bought what seems to be a Panzer II track-link (with some nudging from Bodston, thanks Bod ;) ) looks right to us but still fearing I'll find some earth mover with similar tracks.
Then a mate trumped me somewhat by buying a rather more expensive (6Xmore) Panther Link...

Never seen a Sherman link, which is what I'd like.
Any restorers out there with a skip-full; bring 'em to Beltring! I know a few weirdos that'd probably buy 'em. :D

    Cheers,
    Adam.

I sure did...I think I posted it somewhere else, but here's a repeat...

I really wanted the complete Nebelwerfer round, but there were 160 reasons I didn't ( each one a £...:( ) and also, my Wife may not have been that understanding....

But I consoled myself with the two big chunks of 150mm rocket for £10 each ( that's more my sort of budget ! :p ). They are very heavy indeed and carrying them back to the car was murder....but I am the proud owner of these ( ahem ! ) historic relics......;)

( PS : Note the original German Gothic script on the paper which was used to line the 'warhead' - or should that be 'war-tail'...?

PPS : Does this make Adam the NEXT WHEATCROFT....??????? )

Component by component... I Will have a Panzer II by c.2070 (this plan was formulated on MRE based cocktails... so it must be sound. :D

(please note. MRE based cocktails are a very bad idea.)

Also rorm the Ostfront came this pair of motorbike kick-plates - the stallholder wasn't sure if they were BMW or Zundapp...

I was interested to discuss them because they looked familiar - here's the fragment I pulled from bushes near Moissy Ford last Autumn....;)
