I found this image on Friday at the NARA.

"Doodlebug."

That's very odd ?
That was the nickname given to the Fieseler Fi 103 (V1) by the British.

 

A classic, but the thing that really always catches my eye with this image is not the mound of Ladungstragers (think what they'd be worth on the militaria/MV market now!); it's the hundreds of apparently horse-drawn carriages stockpiled behind at this particular dump.
The skeleton in the closet of the much-vaunted mechanised might of the Wehrmacht .
