Thank you Wessex Wyvern. I am interested in everything about the Green Howard's and the parts my grand father had in any of their conflicts. I was once asked who was my hero and with out hesitating i said granddad.
Thanks Peppy. Just got home from a hard night at work so chilling out so to speak before going to the land of nod!!LOL!! I have a feeling i am going to learn a hell of a lot about my grandfathers time in the Green Howard's through this site. I have been so impressed so far i recommended it to my mothers cousin and he has registered here yesterday so i will be looking out for cousin Dennis Leech.
