Hello all, I read the "New Recruits" and here I am. I arrived here in the WWIIForums due to a search I was doing online about LST-496. My husbands' Uncle Fred Bonchak was on that ship. His body was never found. My name is Tracy Crapse Shuey, my member name is Daisymae9624 which is the name of a doggie I once had. I am 51 and originally from SC where I was born and lived for 45 years until moving to Florida to marry my now hubby. I have been interested in WWII ever since I can remember and passed that on to my 3 sons, one of which collects that era guns and memorabilia with a passion. I love to read and have read almost everything published on WWII. I was the kid who would read through the history book all at once. I love gardening, nature, fishing, and hunting. I hope to learn more here as I go along.
