    Hi Guys.
What a fantastic forum, I am glad to have been pointed in this forums direction.
I am 44 years old and have a great interest in both WW1 and WW2, I have done alot of studys in to WW2 especialy since the freedom of information act enabled much archived material to be released.
My main interest is the political side of the war rather than the battles and staratagy used, I find that looking back into historys political side can help predict our future as history eventualy does repeat no matter how hard we try not to.
You all may find my view of the wars a little diferent to most, however I will have great pleasure in discussing all aspects of the war such as why and for what resons it all happened.

    Regards.
    Dan

    Hi Dan,

You'll meet many WWII buffs and/or experts here.
Enlightened points of views are always welcome, as long as they are not revisionist. Welcome on board!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys,,

Forgot to mention that I am from Scotland, about 25 miles east of Edinburgh.. I work as a bus driver doing service work, so researching some history takes me away from all the stress and hastles involved in public transport.
Looking forwards to some debate, already I have had a great read through the forum and am very imnpressed.

    Regards.

    Dan
