Arie-Jan van Hees, the author of the acclaimed book Tugs and Gliders to Arnhem has just (self) published his newest book.

Green On! is the story of the planning and execution of the resupply flights by the RAF to Arnhem. Many stories about little known subjects like the Allied escorts, the response of the Luftwaffe and the stories of the crashed planes and the fate of their crews.

The book is written in English, has 386 pages, 600 pictures and is printed in a limited number of 1000 books. The book has been well received by veterans and (Dutch) enthousiasts alike.

I am sure this book will soon find itself just as acclaimed and searched for as 'Tugs and Gliders...'

The book costs 50 Euro and is available directly from the author. If interested, mail me for his e-mail addy.

He was selling his books from a little table outside the Schoonoord last month, so I now have both. They are extraordinary works of research and very nicely produced.

Also he's a nice guy to talk to.....

I'd already got 'TAGTA' but he had a couple on his stall. Of course - he may have sold them by now.....

Oh - then maybe he has a few left ; I didn't see a single copy at Duxford the other week.

Don't worry, Stevin - I'm sure he's not the type to run off with your money ! [IMG]

I know, not worried about that, just that I am left without 605 material. I am getting more information in about 605 members that crashed in Holland...maybe I'll sent him another mail just to confirm...
