Grenada is a small Caribbean island formed by volcanic rocks, his government is the parliamentary monarchy, the country is a member of the British Commonwealth of Nations and is headed by British Prime Minister. During World War II many volunteers of Granada, as well as other countries of the Commonwealth, enlisted to defend the motherland and the world of Nazism. Many were enlisted in the Navy, Army and RAF, but some also enlisted for the defense of the Caribbean islands, such as the Grenadian Mr. Oliver Modeste Veteran who served in the Coast Artillery in Trinidad. Unfortunately it can not even personal stories and reports, but below is an image 2014 where Mr. Oliver was 89, and was very weak. http://wwiibrazil.com.br/granadino-veterano-da-segunda-guerra-mundial/

The Nutmeg Island! There was a small group of Grenadians living in northern New Jersey in the eighties who worked at the plant I worked at. What a great bunch. One family was of Scottish heritage who had been in Grenada for many generations. The father was a former merchant seaman who worked on tankers going up into Mobile Bay. Very tough character, albeit fun loving. He could really hit when he got angry.
