The bottom picture is interesting. Apperenetly during the Moscow counter offensive, a truck carrying iron crosses were captured while it was on its way to the front. A lot of Germans didn't receive their medals, of course many of them were probably dead as a result of the offensive.

One of the more intersting areas in this mesuem was the earth works.

Except for the bunkers, you can enter anything, walk through the trenches, even get into the MG turets and move them around.

Wow, thanks for the pics w.o.kelly! :D

One question - where is it?

Ok, two questions - what is the 5th gun from the left in the first picture?

Looks like a German Bergman MP28-II, there's a picture of one towards the bottom of this article, it's about the only one I could find on the net.

Err, well these are all from different museums scatter across Russia. The first set of guns was from Lenningrad. From the 9th picture to the 12th picture were from Moscow. The 13th and 14th were from Volgograd (Stalingrad), and the last two were from Moscow as well

Just the WWII stuff you see. I have a lot of cultural pictures, but seriously it took forever to upload those, no interest in others.
