Hamilton and Russell for Mercedes....?!!

The Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team today confirmed that George Russell will become team-mate to reigning seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, beginning from the 2022 Formula One season as the sport enters a new era of technical regulations.

I was too fast.... so it is Russell and Hamilton.

 

I wonder how George will do? I have not followed him or Formula 1 for that matter, for that many years. You may say that I am new to it compared to IndyCar or NASCAR. But I enjoy it, even if it comes on very early in the morning here. But I really like the podium celebrations and the British announcers and the pre-race interviews. Quite a big thing about the championship last year. Probably fans will be talking about yet this year, rightly so. But ya know, even though I really have not a real favorite driver, I like to hear Lando Norris and Daniel Riccarido speak. Hope for much fun and safe races this coming season, as some of the circuits are just beautiful! But hey, I have a Red Bull hat! Like the colors!

 

Looks like Mercedes has not been able to produce a race winning F1 car this year. However, things look quite different for Ferrari now after the begininning of the season.
