We havent had a topic on this yet, surprsingly

personally i like the luger and Barreta 92Fs becuase they are both beautiful guns and the 92 is reliable, accurate, and has a large mag capacity, i also like the walther P99

so get posting on your favourite hand guns

I like .357's the most. Also have wanted the S&W Model 29 "Dirty Harry" revolver.

The Colt Peacemaker and Colt M1911 are, of course, on my list as well.

    I currently own a S&W .22 target pistol and a S&W .357 snubnose.

I spent about a year shooting handguns before the ban. Of the weapons I fired (A Czech CZ semi-automatic pistol, S&W .357 revolver with both .357 and .38 and a Browning GP35/Hi-power), I really enjoyed shooting the Browning, I put two magazines through the CZ and had two or three stoppages which kind of put me off it and I didn't really enjoy the revolvers.

I agree with the Hi-Power, I had a MkIII and it was pretty good for accuracy so long as you remembered the bore was actually .357 and not .355 (9mm). Every Browning I ever miked had this, from Belgian ones made in 1930's to Canadian WW2 manufactured onwards. I used to make my own for this gun and it was possible to shoot groups of 1.5" at 25m's with it. Bench rested in a Ransom rest it could do groups of .5"

I also had a fondness for a Belgian Clements pistol of .25acp. It cost me £10 :D but it was surprisingly accurate in the Classic Vest Pocket Pistol events.

I also had/have a fondness for the Webley series. MkIII .38 pocket revolver and the MkVI .455 (surprisingly accurate with hollow nose/hoolow base rounds).
