I wish a safe and blessed Easter to all my friends and neighbors on WWII Forums. Rejoice and be glad.
It looks to be a beautiful Easter Day here in Alabama and my best regards to all. Passover also starts today and my very best wishes to Ron Goldstein and all my Jewish friends over the next seven days. If I could have a wish it would be to celebrate a Seder with Ron. Gaines
"And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. -Luke 23:42-43 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." -John 3:16-17 "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die........" -John 11:25-26
Thank you CollHessler for reminding us of the meaning of this day and to celebrate the second day of Passover. I never forget Ron on Passover. Gaines
The Passover is a time when Jews remember God freeing them from bondage in Egypt through the sacrifice of a lamb. Christians celebrate Easter to remember being freed from the bondage of sin through the sacrifice of Jesus, the Lamb of God. A very blessed Passover & Easter to our Jewish & Christian members.
Thanks Tommy. Have a safe Easter or Passover, everyone. Spoke and saw my kids and grandkids through the magic of Facebook Messenger. It was nice to see and talk to them, but it was bittersweet since we normally gather as a family to eat together and celebrate each other.
