    Hello to all the members of the forum.
    I present myself Thierry, I am 54 years old and fond of history ww2 especially period January 1945 (Dead man's Ridge 17 Airborne) why my nickname!
    I live in the center of this battle not too much for me written and spoken and put forward in the history books!
    The cause the mission Varsity March 1945 (Wesel) will put forward the 17 Airborne which is normal being given it will be the greatest airborne mission of the second world war and puts in withdrawal this period January 45 the 17 Airborne.
    I have been doing research for more than a year in the American and German archives and also testimonies of veterans who are always interesting to have their judgments of the ground of the time, to be able to make a future work on this period.
    I am on your forum to always learn information and also to be helped by some of the forum to increase my documentation so that I can be more precise in my future work.

    Bonjour, je joins des photos de mon village après cette bataille qui fut très sanglante en pertes pour certaines unités américaines comme le 550th qui perdit 3/4 de ses hommes en 2 jours !
