Hello! My name is Jeremiah. I’m 22 years old. I’ve been fascinated with WW2 history ever since I was a child. I have a history collection which includes many WW2 items. I look forward to being apart of this community. And also being in New Mexico, I’m a few hours away from the trinity site which I plan on visiting in the future.

I think it's awesome that you're fascinated with WW2 history at your age Jeremiah. For whatever reason I didn't become obsessed with WW2 until a few years ago and I'm 54. When I ,moved to where I live now a WW2 veteran lived just up the road from me and I stopped one day to talk to him and that's when I learned he was a veteran. My regret is not going back as much as I could to talk more with him and hear his stories about the war as he passed less than 2 years later. have a daughter around your age and I'm hoping to generate her interest in WW2 given its significance. As we all know, but for all of those heroes then the world would be living under Nazi rule today. And looking back to that era and as an American I have to say that Winston Churchill is my favorite of them all. There were many incredible heroes and leaders at that time, but Churchill just really stands out to me for many reasons.

its never too late to get into the history of WW2! And I’ve had the opportunity to meet a few WW2 veterans in my life so I get what you mean. And I really like Churchill as well!

The only good things I can say aboult Albuquerque is that there's a major airport & a Costco there. The traffic from I25/I40. Ugggh. I like Sante Fe better. Don't blame you for staying south. Ever been to Val Verde battlefield? Site of a lancer charge by the Confederates. I haven't been there myself.
