I have been a specialized student of sorts of WWII since high school in the early '80s. My specialized interests include the development of German mobile warfare tactics after the beginning of the war, the operational art of Rommel and the use of WWII-developed tactics as the basis of various military doctrines in later years. Pretty narrow interests really, but I am also interested in most other areas of WWII history, although I am less likely to post about them.
