    Hi everyone,

I've joined the site to try and find out what an RAF abbreviation is on my mother's WAAF record. I'll now try and find where I list the question.

Hi Anniegirl. Welcome. You might also join our sister site ww2talk.com. They have a more British and continent orientation. That said, there are some very knowledgeable people here who might be able to answer your question.

WAAF stands for Women's Auxiliary Air Force, a division of the Women's Army Corp (WAC). RAF is likely to be Royal Air Force.
