help identifying this...

    Hi everyone, need some help identifying what this is exactly. No real markings other than the 50k on the side in the same paint the bands are in. If the story I was given was correct it shipped back from pacific theater.

    Looks like a Japanese Type 99 No.25 Model 1 250 Kg bomb.

    Can someone please help me to identify this I know nothing other than it was unexploded ordnance (now disposed of by EOD) and was washed up on my local beach
