    Hi
Would welcome assistance in identifying an artillary projectile (?) that I found in an estate sale. Weights 9 pound. Body is cast iron(?). Top cap is brass. Base is copper(?) which is held in with 2 screws in body. No identifying markings visible. Max diameter of body is 3 inch and height is 6 3/4 inches. Copper base is dished with raised centre hole thru into body.
    Cheers
    Russ

Do you know if it still has explosives inside? If so it's a very dangerous item to have in one's home.
