Hi all. Just found this group while doing some research. I live in Darwin in the top end of Australia and love looking at the locations built here during WWII. Hope to be able to share some of the videos I have made and hope you enjoy them. Cheers
I feel for you. But you could always move up here, do your 2 weeks in the sun at Howard Springs and have no issues.
Good plan...except trying to find housing at the moment is a nightmare. Having said that you could live here... Or you could live here... Four seasons in one day VS 2 seasons a year.
I’ve done my time in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Too many freezing mornings standing at the train station for me. And the bonus at the moment is I have a reason not to visit the family and they can’t easily visit me.
"The ‘Top End’ of the Northern Territory is a tropical oasis that consists of Darwin (the NT’s capital city), World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park, remote Arnhem Land in the north-east corner, and the Katherine region where the tropics meet the outback."
