Do you believe Hitler ever looked back in hindsight? If so at what point do you think he started. :ehm:

    Hitler regrets not winning.

Only regret that Hitler ever had is that he didnt win the war.I think he was to evil to have any self
    remorse.

In the movie downfall Hitler said the stronger Asian people beat them. Dont know how much he meant it as he was awaiting steiner etc to beat the Red Army as well at the gates of Berlin.

"If I had known your figures (of Soviet tank production) were correct, I would have never started this war!"--Adolph Hitler to Gen. Heinz Guderian

It sounds like that at least for a little while he had regret but I too doubt Hitler could feel true remorse.

I'll bet he regretted a lot of things, for example he was a vegetarian, non-smoker, non-drinker who ended up sticking a Walther in his mouth at the age of 56. At that moment I'll bet he regretted all the cigars, schnapps and sausages he could have enjoyed with the boys in the previous years. And don't get me started on the mustache, you know he regretted that. Oh yeah, and that whole invading Europe thing, and the holocaust. I'll bet he realized all of those things were mistakes in hindsight. Especially the mustache.

Yes indeed! That mustache was the worst crime of all! When I was in Germany I ate and drank all the sausage and beer that he could have had! (burp! hic!)

Charlie Chaplin did the mustache well though.

I had a look through Ian Kershaw's big boys book of Hitler. The only genuine regret seems to have been that the German people did not prove worthy of him...
