    Hello all.
New to the Forum so if this is not quite in the right spot, please set me straight. HMS Orchis (RN Flower Class Corvette) was sunk in the Channel 23 Aug 1944. Some say a torpedo, others say a mine. Lots of evidence both ways. Apparently one of the rescue ships was a US Coast Guard vessel and a Bronze Star went to the commander. Anyway, any ideas as to how to get to the bottom of the question, mine or torpedo? Many thanks.
